The Cape Monster did not get its name from the route being unattractive but rather because it is a monster of a ride. With 307 kms to complete in just one day, this feat is not for the faint hearted. The inaugural ride took place on Wednesday the 21st December 2011 where it began and ended in the picturesque town of Hermanus. Due to the success of the inaugural event, we will be continuing with the event in May 2012. ASG Events are extremely excited about this event and are proud to announce that we have confirmed the attendance of Darren Lill, Gerald de Kock, Hanco Kachelhoffer, Mike Chapman amongst the 100 strong, crazy men and women who will be riding the Cape Monster 2012. Thw ride was the brainchild of Heinrich Dannhauser and Mike Chapman, conceived over many bottles of wine consumed in a Hermanus pub!
