Davila wins Mexican national championship

Luis Davila, in his first year riding for Jelly Belly p/b Kenda, won the Mexican National Championship road race Sunday. Davila, 20, is now on the list of riders who could go to the Olympics representing Mexico.

Davila, who hails from Aguascalientes, Mexico, also placed seventh in his country's time trial championship.

“I couldn’t be happier for Luis and this tremendous accomplishment,” said Jelly Belly p/b Kenda team director Danny Van Haute
